In June, Pantang Park in Wuzhou, south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is drawing visitors as lotus flowers bloom one after another, transforming the park into a serene summer haven. Celebrated in Chinese culture as the “gentleman among flowers,” the lotus flower symbolizes purity and resilience—rising unstained from the mud. With their elegant posture, soft hues, and dew-kissed petals, the blooming lotuses not only captivate the eye but also offer a sense of calm and spiritual reflection, leaving visitors enchanted by their quiet charm and timeless grace.
